2025 Year in Review
As we welcome a new year, we take time to reflect on what truly matters most: family, community, opportunity, and quality of life in North Texas. From Southlake and Grapevine to Colleyville, Keller, Westlake, Flower Mound, Coppell, Argyle, Northlake, and Trophy Club, we are grateful to live and work in a region known for strong schools, engaged neighborhoods, and a true sense of belonging. Our North Texas communities are about far more than homes and neighborhoods. They are Friday night lights, local coffee shops, award-winning school districts, community events, volunteer organizations, and small businesses that continue to invest in the places we call home. We are thankful for the relationships, conversations, and trust that allow us to serve this area and remain deeply connected to the people who make these cities such special places to live.
A Few Moments We Loved in 2025 ❤️
While residential real estate in North Texas is our profession, supporting the communities we serve is our passion. This past year offered countless reminders of why Southlake, Grapevine, Colleyville, Keller, Trophy Club, and surrounding cities remain such desirable places to live.
- Celebrations and traditions in Grapevine: The Grapevine Vintage Railroad, seasonal Main Street festivals, spring and fall concert series and of course holiday celebrations highlighted the city’s historic charm and strong sense of community—attracting families from across the DFW Metroplex throughout the year.
High school athletics and school spirit: On full display across Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, Trophy Club, Flower Mound, and Colleyville. From Friday night football to year-round extracurriculars, these school districts continue to be a cornerstone of community pride and one of the many reasons families choose to live in this part of North Texas.
New local businesses and experiences: We also saw exciting momentum from the renovation of beloved neighborhood spots in Trophy Club to new restaurants, shops, fitness studios, and service providers opening in Southlake, Colleyville, Keller, and Grapevine, small business growth continues to enhance daily life. Beyond dining, expanded recreation amenities—including new sports complexes, pickleball courts, walking trails, and dog parks—reflect the ongoing investment in lifestyle and livability across our communities.
Individually, these moments may feel simple. Together, they define the rhythm of life in North Texas towns where community connection, local culture, and quality of life truly matter.
👀 Looking Ahead: What We're Watching as We Enter the New Year
As we head into the new year, we continue to monitor North Texas real estate trends, the local economy, and evolving community priorities across Southlake, Grapevine, Colleyville, Keller, Trophy Club, and surrounding DFW cities. Here are a few thoughtful observations we are watching closely:
Mortgage rates and lending trends in DFW: Interest rates are likely to remain variable into early 2026. For many buyers and sellers in the DFW housing market, preparation, financial clarity, and long-term perspective may matter more than trying to time the market perfectly. As we often say, marry the house, not the mortgage—rates can change, but the right home supports your lifestyle for years to come.
Housing inventory and seasonal market shifts: Gradual balance may continue to return to the North Texas housing market, particularly in established neighborhoods with strong school districts. This could create more housing options and allow for more deliberate, well-structured negotiations between buyers and sellers.
DFW employment growth and corporate expansion: The broader Dallas–Fort Worth economy is expected to maintain its growth trajectory as companies continue to evaluate corporate relocation and expansion to Texas. This sustained employment growth supports local services, infrastructure, and long-term housing demand across our communities.
Community amenities and quality of life investments: Ongoing investments in parks, schools, recreation facilities, and local business development—including new park projects and outdoor amenities in Trophy Club and neighboring cities—will continue to influence how residents live, connect, and enjoy daily life in North Texas.
Together, these factors point to a year ahead that rewards thoughtful planning, strong local insight, and a continued focus on long-term livability in the North Texas communities we are proud to call home.
Employment and Economic Growth in Our Region📈
One of the quiet strengths of living in Southlake, Grapevine, Colleyville, Keller, Westlake, Flower Mound, Argyle, Northlake and Trophy Club is proximity to a thriving regional employment base. In 2025, the Dallas–Fort Worth job market continued to demonstrate resilience, with steady gains across corporate headquarters, professional services, healthcare, technology, and logistics.
The DFW Metroplex remains one of the top destinations in the country for corporate relocations and headquarters expansions, driven by a skilled workforce, central U.S. location, and long-term business stability. While many of these companies establish offices in nearby employment hubs such as Las Colinas, Alliance, Plano, and downtown Dallas, the impact is felt directly in our communities through commuter access, local spending, and sustained demand for housing near top-rated schools.
We are also seeing continued momentum from small and midsize businesses relocating within North Texas, choosing areas like Grapevine and Southlake for their accessibility, infrastructure, and quality of life. These moves support local employment opportunities, strengthen neighborhood retail corridors, and reinforce the long-term economic health of our cities.
For families and professionals alike, this ongoing North Texas employment growth contributes to stability—supporting schools, community services, and the lifestyle that continues to draw people to this part of the Metroplex.
